I have a 508T on my X5, and I love it. I put a 509T on my 226, and it's my favorite optic now. If I didn't have to change the mounting plate, I would put another 509T on the X5 and put the 508T on one of the beater Glocks. 509t is an enclosed emitter. Meaning you aren’t going to get lint, water, dirt on the emitter and block your dot. 508 and 507 would be the same as each other in that regard. Open emitter, prone to getting stuff on them.
