Architectural engineering degree requirements

The architectural engineering (BSAE) undergraduate program is a four-year program requiring 128 credit hours. A one-year master of architectural engineering (MAE) program of 30 credits is also offered. The MAE degree is accredited by ABET, and almost all of our BSAE graduates continue to complete the MAE degree.

The following outline of courses is the suggested method for completing the requirements for both degrees simultaneously. Dual degree students must also consult the additional requirements of the Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering degree. Dual degree students are responsible for fulfilling the requirements of both degrees. The Master of Architecture is a professional graduate degree, leading to certification with the Canadian Architectural Certification Board.
