Finally got the new 300 PRC and shot a few Hornady factory 212 ELD-X through it to break in. Shot those around 1/2" at 100 but I now have some Lapua brass and can't wait to see what reloads will do. Jun 17, 2018 · Question for you all on H1000 loads behind a Berger 215 Hybrid Target. I recently had a 300 PRC built (Borden Action, Lilja 25” Barrel 1:9 twist. Using ADG brass.) I called Berger for recommended min/max load data. They said for the 215 min is 80.0 and max is 84.1 gr H1000. To me, this seems very high. 6.5 PRC Load Data. The two bullets I have the most experience with are the Hornady 147 and the Berger 156. Both are incredibly easy to tune. For the 147, I would start with 56.0 grains of H1000 and the bullet seated at a COAL of .040" off the lands in a SAAMI chamber and work up.
