Boss plow light problems! Just installed a used BOSS 8'6" super duty straigt blade on my '00 Chevy silverado 2500. All plow functions work fine as in up,down,left and right.The problem comes when I flip the switch from "TRUCK" to "PLOW" lights. The truck lights go off,parking lights stay ON on the truck but the plow lights do not come on.Boss plow connector issue. You'd first run it up onto a snowbank just like any other plow and then strap it up.no offense taken. The plow motor makes a whiney noise. Every thing else you asked i think i have answered. There is power everywhere. When i received the plow the ram was left up, we thought the ram had rusted so we put the weight of the plow on by jacking it up and using the chain. It lowered down. The ram will not go back up left or right.
