Sep 20, 2022 · Here's what I've tried. By-passing the TS4 and connect the Ethernet cable directly to the D-Link USB-C to Ethernet adapter and this works. Using the TS4 with a MacBook Pro M1 and the Ethernet connection works. Using TS3 with my MacBook Pro M1 Max and it works. It's only when Using MacBook Pro M1 Max with the TS4 is when the Ethernet is not working. This interrupts network access and unceremoniously disconnects any attached storage. CalDigit has a firmware upgrade to fix this, however it can only be installed using a Windows computer.
