What I meant by corrosive projection is the armor gets heavily reduced by 4 of them and so two shots of nine pellets each stripping 6 armor can easily overstrip. It def is personal preference and what level you're at for eidos, like I mentioned in a previous comment you're throwing so much damage at it you'll one shot as DPS and hadn't thought ...No, it won't. But amp auras aren't worth bothering with unless the group has them stacked 4x, so it's kind of a moot point. It works on base damage, not total damage.
