I believe I’ve also read that any fluid that meets the IH B-6 specification will work. I recently stopped at a local Cub Cadet dealer to pick up some fluid. Clean the area around the transmission filter with a clean rag. Lower the mowing deck. Place the pan under the transmission filter. Remove the filter with the filter wrench by turning it counterclockwise. Place the filter in the pan so fluid doesn't leak out onto the floor. Place the drain pan under the rear of the transmission.
