You can not do it on a running save-file. Not sure if Satisfactory has to be closed or just the game. There will be two files sometimes. Details. Train loading station for rail placement. You need to backup blueprint-storage.dat as was discovered in my post: Playing on multiple computers. Steam cloud can take care of almost everything. The only thing it won't sync (and you also didn't mention) is the Blueprint library. You need to manually transfer it and it's pretty inconvenient.
