i been trying something like this, the issue at least with my webcam is the FOV is like 120 is to much for FOIP work properly, so i try to use obs virtual camera, i can see the virtual camera con star citizen drop menu of FOIP but like the OP it just shows a black screen in the calibration. • 1 yr. ago. IDK what my problem was but when trying ...I have a 1080p Ausdom camera atop my monitor. Because of the distance from face it won't calibrate short of having it right in front of my face blocking the screen, which is less than ideal. It has no software that seems to work with it to allow zooming. I've tried to use OBS, but it just won't work with that and Star Citizen together.

Yes, this is possible. You just need a bit of $$$ to make it happen. You need two accounts and at least two PC's. fire up your main account on your main gaming rig. plug your webcam into the second pc and use that as your FOIP source using the secondary account (with the same face, obvs) feed both video sources into OBS.Can't use FOIP with VR. FOIP had a hard time seeing my face, granted my face was overcast in the provided star citizen calibration screen. Most of the time FOIP would be off and suddenly not sure why FOIP would turn on. Perhaps calibration and/or camera could or should auto-contrast and auto-light to improve face capture and consistency?Sounds like a permission issue, star citizen installs in program files instead of x86. I gave up on the foip, but for the head tracking with a Webcam I highly recommend using opentrack and aitrack together. Both are free and made tracking with a normal Webcam so much better. You just switch the option in game to trackir after you have the programs set up.
