If you can find the p365 in 380 to rent- I believe you will like it. It is 4 oz lighter than the 9mm model and holds 10/12 rounds. The recoil will be significantly less than the 9mm. My handloads and chronograph results proved to me that the Glock 42 is strong and is most reliable with the warmer .380 factory and handloaded ammo. Some midrange handloads wouldn't even cycle the G42 slide. I had to load to book max level to get reliable function. The main issue with the Max is it is too light and the barrel (like on the Sig) is just too short.
