When the engine gets too hot, it kills the PTO to remove the load from the engine and let it cool down. The temp switch on your tractor could be faulty or have a bad connection and cause both problems. The 2305 is a great tractor. I finished the project with the Majic paint, and now it looks like crap on those parts, while the parts with the Valspar still look really nice.That's kind of how I read it, I wish that he had included numbers for 5w-40.
