Hi, just a correction, at least for a PC, it should be ctrl+T rather than alt. Thanks so much for this shortcut!! I have been working hours adding text and always clicking on the "text" palette, then "staff text" and finally, triple clicking on the staff text to highlight those words so I can put in my own text. This is a life saver!!!set the duration to 1/2 note (semibreve), then press ctrl+3 to create a triplet of 1/4 notes (crotchet). Always set the duration for the full duration of any tuplet, then turn that into a tuplet.
