Karils Crossbow Uses. So I was looking for recommended gear for shamans and karils crossbow was a tier above Crystal bow/MSBi. Looked up the stats of the karils crossbow and looks like it’s a good bit better than MSBi + rune arrows. Which made me wonder why you don’t see it used and recommended as much.18.5. You'll want to go with more or less: Verac's helm, Karil's top, Verac's skirt, prayer bonus in shield (fally shield 3/blessed spirit shield/god book), archers ring, explorers ring or ring of recoil in order of usefulness, fury or glory, rune crossbow and 800 broad-tipped bolts for everything up to Jad and 200 diamond (e) in your invent for Jad ...I'm currently 70 ranged, using a karils crossbow.
