It appears the drawer full sensors have been redesigned, hopefully for better reliability.The drawer sensors do not work by side to side "viewing" as they did with the LR 3. Excess bag sticking up will not affect the LR 4, as it "reads" the waste level with the laser system that shines down through the waste port when the box is in dump position. The same sensors also read the litter level when the globe is in home position.
I cleaned the contacts and still had pinch fault. The pinch wiring feeds to the dfi board so I replaced the dfi board and pinch alarm went away. I also had the red,yellow light. To permanently disable the sensors, I unplugged them from the spring metal sensor, used a pair of large metal snips to cut the end of the sensor to make a long flat metal tab that I used to connect the two wires together.
