This mod patches the game's memory image to store save files with the extension ".mod" instead of ".sl2". Detailed documentation found here. The videos mention to use both, but as I understand it, they sort of do the same thing. -Mod Loader will load .dll files, but it requires adding the files to the mod folder in the main Elden Ring file. -ModEngine2 will also load .dll files but keep the original main Elden Ring file clean through a separate launcher.
