The tentative honors list for the baccalaureate degree is composed of students who have been in residence at least three semesters in the School of Optometry with the following cumulative grade point average: 3.90, with Highest Distinction; 3.80, with High Distinction; 3.70, with Distinction. Magna cum laude is an academic level of distinction used by educational institutions to signify an academic degree that was received "with great honor."
