Oregon trail markers

The Banks-Vernonia State Trail is Oregon's first rails-to-trail linear state park. The trail starts on the Tualatin Valley floor in Banks and climbs the foothills of the coast range to Vernonia. Trail views include two 700-foot long, 80-foot high railroad trestles (Buxton and Horseshoe). The trail also has 13 bridges.
