Definitely an Oura is the last thing to get for what you mention. I have to take it off for any weightlifting and pull-ups type exercises. I wear the Oura and Garmin vivosmart 4 all the time. In the Health Sync app I choose to transfer activities, steps, HR and spo2. I watch the data in all apps - Oura, Garmin connect and Google fit. I use both an Oura Ring 2 and a Garmin fitness tracker (with Garmin Connect) - you can send data to Apple Health, but not to Garmin Connect, I believe.I’ve come to the conclusion that the Oura ring is primarily a sleep tracker. It’s fine for aerobic workouts (although questionable accuracy) but uncomfortable to wear during any rigorous workouts involving a barbell, kettle bells, pull-ups - any activity wear you are gripping something and twisting.
