Oct 29, 2022 · A flak vest is better than plate armor, but the vest doesn't cover the legs or arms (unless they are bionic/prosthetic arms). Flak jackets and pants are better than cloth dusters and pants, and better than most leathers, but devilstrand, hyperweave and thrumbofur dusters are better than flak jackets. Where as Rimworld went with a purely percentage based approach. A random element is fine, but to keep things reasonable, wouldn't it makes sense if armor always helped at least a little? It wouldn't need to be that much, like 1 for a flak jacket, up to 6 for the best armor, and that would still make a substantial difference.
