Rimworld mods not showing up
RimWorld. Title/Start screen not loading interface/UI. I have attempted to restart several times, but I cannot get the start menu to fully load. Once I get the "Loading Interfaces" message box in the middle when the game first boots up, I can't proceed past that and nothing loads after that screen disappears. Nothing I have found seems to match ...I hit the Mods option and it takes me to the mod screen, except bugged out and I am unable to scroll or see any buttons. I tried restarting both Steam and my computer but the problem persisted. Next I reinstalled the game, which made some progress. After some more diagnosis yes, I have determined that's it. It's not a crash / freeze, it's an INCREDIBLE slowdown. But it seems to be proportional to the number of mods rather than a specific one. I used a process of removing all my subscribed mods and placing them in the rimworld mods folder and running with steam closed.Im still locked out of mods and assets. Everything is in steam workshop but nothing is loaded. I went through each step and there wasnt anything there. I did load the game on my Mac Pro and the first day it was the same. However i checked today all of the assets and mods are there. Lord_Of_Coffee • 2 yr. ago. Delete your modsconfig.xml in C:\Users<Username>\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config. Should work. Alternatively, nuke the entire Ludeon Studios folder in this directory. This will for sure reset our modlist and clean everything out of your game. As some people seem to be not sure how they should identify which of their mods causes an error, here's a mini-guide of how this could be done.
