Snap to guides illustrator
Jul 7, 2016 · I think this is where weird stuff started. Now as it shows in the image, the guide does not snap to the intersecting point and neither does the vertical line. I reset the keyboard increment value to original one, which is 0.0137 inch. My perpetual settings are: a. Snap to Point & Smart Guides are enabled. b. Snap to Grid: Disabled. Jun 18, 2016 · 1. I was able to get this to work after plenty of frustration by doing the following: Smart Guides: On. Snap to Point: On. Preferences->Smart Guides->Construction Guides: On (I also left everything else on except Transform Tools) Most importantly was to hold down Ctrl before clicking on the object. Share. Disable "Snap to Point" and "Snap to Grid" in your view menu. This should fix it. Be sure of course "View>Smart Guides" is enabled, obviously you've done that. Go to Preferences>Smart Guides and be sure you have them set as you like, obviously you've done that. I was having this problem, too.
