This thread is the most recent example I could find, but OP doesn't list Enhancements.I'm pretty sure inquisitive is basically a class in its own right, you can just ignore your base class entirely, be inquisitive, and that's good enough to level up and perform decently well. I like the 9 ranger 4 art 7 rogue. Start 2 art, 9 ranger, finish art, then do rogue. For some fun, powerful, beginner-friendly builds, I think it’s important you can do a lot of damage, provide some utility to your group, and keep yourself alive. Luckily this doesn’t narrow things down much. The forums have some great build guides, as does the YouTube channel “Strimtom,” which is quite good for beginners.Ranger gets a decent amount of skill points per lvl, so it will allow you to maintain those skills as you lvl so you can disable traps (and pick locks). That will make your play experience less painful as traps are a big part of DDO. Another build you could try is 18 Paladin / 2 Rogue. Inquis is your best leveling build and decent at cap. If you dont have either, dont do ranged builds yet, save up for sharn, unlock inquis, then use inquis. Inquis is somewhat awkward to level from level 1 as most inquis builds use a mix of ranger, rogue and artificer levels. The only viable top end DPS that uses S&B I have seen is a swashbuckler build but that is more like Dagger and Buckler. I had some buddies run it through a couple of R10 RXP farming cycles and they said it was decent. It is possible there is some rogue or warlock build that is decent, but I have no idea about those classes as I don't play them.EllisDee37's Build Repository hasn't updated in ages, but no one has compiled a better build index AFAIK. Strimtom's hardcore season 1, 2 and 3 builds are easy to achieve, high survivability, decent new player starting builds that require no tomes. Some involve race/class/universal tree unlocks but a fair bit don't. I would say new players go look there instead of other places. His builds are really good for starters.As for the specific builds, thinking Strimtom's Season 4 Hardcore Ready builds. He has a Deep Gnome and Warforged version of the build, but as for picking one, and updating it to U51; I am leaning Gnome Palemaster, due to Greater Color Spray and overall more Int/DC for groups/harder quests.We would like to show you a description here but the site won’t allow us.
