UGRA has an active education program designed to give Kerr County residents a better understanding of the Upper Guadalupe River and its watershed. UGRA staff gives numerous presentations to schools, clubs, and organizations. Our Current Programs are: Presentations in Schools. UGRA staff makes numerous presentations each year at local schools. The Ugra River flows among small hills, and a deciduous forest grows on its banks. There are many water and hiking trails along the river. On the map of the national park there are more than a hundred places where it is possible to place a camp on the banks of the Ugra River.
