OK, I've done literally hundreds of runs at Mirror lake and have only gotten Splendid Boots.In the early levels it is super beneficial to have even a little extra damage and honestly, being able to wipe most minions and bosses in 1-2 hits in the first 3-4 worlds speeds up your progress drastically.
