Fully Respec Companions mod. Got zero issue with it. You can't change background and initial attributes, but their point buy equivalent is rarely 25 so not exactly a surprise. Just a minor detail, respeccing mongrels erroneously gives you a free +2 attribute boost, it immediately disappears on reloading your game though. Respec mods not working for me . I can't say for sure that mods won't break new save files after you start using mods, but you can always go back to your previous saves.
The OP want's to respec from level 1. To the OP: I use the same Respec mod, but as with all mods, they need to be updated by the creator.
